Senior Designer Lu\u00a0Olp has participated in the Home-A-Rama previously, however, this was Senior Designer Jessica Corbin-Mahaney\u2019s first official Home-a-Rama design experience.<\/p>\n

This beautiful million-dollar home was described by our designers as \u201cSophisticated Contemporary.\u201d Classy and fresh, this home, according to Olp has an open, functional design. \u201cWhich works well for entertaining!\u201d The vibrancy yet comfortability of the home, according to Corbin-Mahaney is achieved through \u201cclean lines, reflective materials, and nice scale.\u201d Corbin-Mahaney believes that above all you must \u201cgo with what you love!\u201d Or if all else fails, \u201cA great piece of art.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two working together is not out of the ordinary for our Designers, Olp said that \u201cwhat a lot of people might not realize, it\u2019s a team effort.\u201d Whether it\u2019s \u201ccheck this out, which one would you choose\u2026\u201d they bounce ideas off of one another. \u201cI\u2019m going to let you do what you want, but I\u2019m not going to let you make a mistake,\u201d Olp said this is how she approaches her clients with their projects. \u201cI become my client when creating a home; their idea of the home looks unique to anyone else.\u201d<\/p>\n

The home had come together beautifully, despite some small scheduling setbacks. \u201cTiming is essential, it is always essential,\u201d Corbin-Mahaney said. Olp followed up with \u201cIt always gets done\u2026you just don\u2019t stop until it\u2019s done.\u201d When touring the home, there was one thing that stood out as seemingly different\u2026 a zebra ottoman in the fitness room. \u00a0As it turns out the choice was not the original plan, however, \u201cYou have to be ready for change, whether you want it or not,\u201d Olp said. They originally planned to place it in the master closet, however, an island was built in the space intended for the ottoman, thus, it\u2019s new space is in the fitness room. Something funky and surprising can be purposeful, if not on purpose at all.<\/p>\n
