Custom Series Vol. 1 – Hancock & Moore
Style emanates from within. Hancock & Moore has been making masterpieces since 1981,
and to this day, up to 80 hours are spent handcrafting each piece of furniture.
Each step of craftsmanship is carefully considered, and as many as 17 craftsmen will have worked on a single piece,
devoting hours to creating each Hancock & Moore original.
Some time-consuming steps and more expensive materials are used to ensure both comfort and durable support that will last for years to come. An 8-way hand tie, for example, involves tying down each seat coil with a heavy cord, using at least 8 knots. Also, the core of the cushion is made from Qualux, an extremely difficult material to work with, but Hancock & Moore believes their customers’ comfort is worth the extra effort.

Choose from over 50 finishes varying in color and gloss.
Create a customized finish with a high-shine or something that resembles a time-worn surface of a treasured antique.
